The official taxi tariff in Graz
In Graz and the Graz-Umgebung district, the same tariff applies to all taxis. It is set by the Province of Styria (Taxitarifverordnung, LGBl. Nr. 107/2024, in force since 1 January 2025). We charge by taximeter and quote a fixed price in advance on request.

Fixed price: how it works
- You tell us the pick-up address, destination, date and time.
- We send you the price in writing, by message or e-mail, with the route and the amount.
- This price applies no matter how heavy the traffic is. It is never below the statutory minimum fare (for online bookings within the tariff area €4.90 plus €2.10 per kilometre or part thereof, otherwise €5.00 plus €2.50).
Payment
Cash or card in every one of our vehicles. Business customers travel on account with a monthly invoice, see Business & Hotels. On request you receive a receipt for every ride.

How much is a taxi from Graz Hauptplatz to the airport?
For around 10 km, approx. €27.90 during the day and €29.90 at night, by taximeter. On request we quote a fixed price in advance.
Are the prices the same for all taxis in Graz?
Yes, the tariff is set by the authorities and applies to all taxis in Graz and the Graz-Umgebung district. Differences arise from the route, waiting time and surcharges.
